I don’t know about you, but there have been many times in my life when I wanted to answer that question in broader terms.  For instance, I prefer to say that over the last three years I have increased profits 20% rather than fess-up to the fact that during the first half of this year my production has been low!  Using numbers and statistics to my advantage is a shell game and once I’m in the habit of playing it, I’ve already begun to fail.

Many careers have been saved from failure in July and August, will yours be? The important step to take here is to honestly look at the first six months of this year and focus in on your successes.  Once you analyze your successes the only thing you have to do in July and August is duplicate them!  It’s that easy!  Spending time analyzing failure is for government agencies not entrepreneurs!

Now everyone who just said to themselves, “But…” is on the road to failure.  Do you really want 2007 to be a year of poor results with good excuses or do you want it to be a great year with no apologies?  I believe you want the latter!

So today is the luckiest day of your life because you realize that you have time to make this the best year of your life.  So many people wish they had more time to succeed when they finally admit to themselves that they could have done more.  You, on the other hand, are being given this important knock on the head now and can enjoy the next two months with renewed vigor and determination.
 
Most of the time when someone would ask me, “What have you done for me lately,” I knew the answer was already self evident.  With this heads up, you can prepare for that question.  By preparing for the question you will end up with people knowing the answer and rather than asking you, “What have you done lately”, they’ll ask “How’d you do it!”
