Wouldn’t it be great if we could be more than one place at a time or better yet be everywhere all the time? Just think of the possibilities in business. No more missed opportunities or appointments. No more people or deal chasing. It sounds ideal or perhaps even divine. In human terms the new market demands that you cover more territory meet more prospects and deliver more support than ever before just to stay even. The demand to be everywhere increases as the market becomes more competitive. An exceptional market (even in negative terms) creates exceptional opportunities (in good terms). Remember, as your competition shrinks from the market they create a vacuum (market share) filled with prospects in need of services. As they move out, you move in. This will require more of you or better said more “mini-yous.” How can this be accomplished? First Position Yourself - Select your corner and position yourself there. You and your location must become recognizable. You want prospects and clients to both remember you and where you are. Associate with a reputable and reliable resource. Become the “source” of something valuable, beyond your fee services, which will raise your visibility and creditability. Participate with educational and training efforts or provide valuable market and economic information. Then Duplicate Yourself - It sounds simple but you must create a presence on every street corner in order to be present where and when supply and demand meet. That is where the deals are made. It’s true; you can’t afford to chase deals because you can never catch up with them. By the time you hear about them, they’re already set. A word of caution – this task is too big for one person to maintain alone. So, be sure that the services you employ have a pristine reputation, proven track record, and deliver quality marketing tools. Team up with a proven winner!
