| Success; Pass It On |
|
When was the last time you received a letter, email, (Tips Tools & Tricks of the Trade), book or magazine that had wonderful information within and then deleted it or threw it away? Did you appreciate where you received that information from? Did you delete or throw it away out of habit? Much of the mental material generated today is thrown away or deleted in mass. With so many professionals stressing the importance of streamlining, efficiency, time management, etc., how can we effectively provide potential clients with the information they need to make a decision to use our services? The answer is changing your pattern from generating information to passing on success. People like being a part of success. Most people delete and throw away information but hold onto success. Take a moment right now and look around and determine how much of the material you have is information and how much is success. I believe that the more success you are aligning yourself with and generating creates more opportunity than continuing to drown in the information flow of life. If Steve Jobs or Bill Gates sent me a note about their thoughts on technology I would be excited. If Warren Buffet sent me a note on his upcoming investment choices I would be thrilled. My point is that I believe these gentlemen would be passing on success which is more important to me than receiving information. This is the difference between passing on information and passing on success. My hope is that today is the day you begin to pass on your success rather than send out information. I know I just did!
