Las Vegas Retion Area September Hojme Sales - DataQuick (La Jolla, CA) September home sales dipped from August, as they normally do, but climbed above the year-ago level as this year’s lower prices and ultra-low mortgage rates continued to attract a steady stream of investors and first-time buyers. The region’s median sale price rose modestly from August but remained 11.5 percent lower than a year earlier and 63 percent below its late-2006 peak, a real estate information service reported. |

Metrostudy Report - 2011-10-20 - On a recent trip to Las Vegas after a late and particularly brutal trip to the blackjack table I found myself ruminating on the secret to any casinos success. Every game in every casino has odds that are in the house’s favor. In any given limited period of time the casino may lose to any one particular player, but over time the odds are stacked to make sure the casinos continue to make a profit.
