Region Owners Offer Multiple Services to Attract More Investors

(Denver, CO – November 29, 2010) – RE/MAX has expanded its worldwide reach by adding the Caribbean country of Dominica to the organization.

New Broker/Owners Alistair and Ann Grell have opened RE/MAX Millenia Realty in Roseau, Dominica’s capital city. The new RE/MAX office is part of the Millenia Group – an architectural, engineering and environmental services firm that has been serving Dominica since 2004.

Letter from FHA commissioner to loan servicers

HUD - David H. Stevens - Over the past several days, it has been widely reported that there are deficiencies in the foreclosure documentation process used by mortgage servicers. In light of these reports, I strongly urge every FHA-approved servicer to immediately conduct a full review of its servicing operations and procedures to ensure full compliance with all HUD requirements.

FDIC: 2009 data on mortgage lending now available

FDIC - The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) today announced the availability of data on mortgage lending transactions at 8,124 U.S. financial institutions covered by the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA). Covered institutions include banks, savings associations, credit unions, and mortgage companies. The HMDA data made available today cover 2009 lending activity--applications, originations, purchases of loans, denials, and other actions such as incomplete or withdrawn applications.

Obama Administration awards additional $1B to stabilize neighborhoods hare-hot by foreclosure
