Credit is a key factor in nearly all real estate transactions, Let’s face it, a borrower’s credit score is one of the most critical factors used when qualifying a prospective mortgage borrower. For years the standard has been the FICO.

A short while ago the three major credit repositories (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) formed VantageScore Solutions to create a reporting methodology that takes into account more factors when calculating your Credit Score.

Recently they introduced their 2.0 release. So, to help us better understand what a VantageScore is we invited their CEO, Barrett Burns to join our conversation today.
