Be a "Changster"

It is your overwhelming responsibility to be an enforcer. You have to force yourself, through a difficult period of hard work to perfect that which is natural to
humans - be warlike.

Don the garb of changsters, carry all the tools and venture into the jungle. Change the entire society of your life - change your children, your spouse, your co-workers, your clients, your customers, your boss, your method of dress, your life.

Do it, not by being ruthless, with unabated aggression. Do it by deciding to be
influential in every area of your life. Declare war on mediocrity, ineffectiveness, and
lack of knowledge.

Decide today to be the best person that ever walked the face of the earth. Draw up a battle plan. Plan the area of attack. Get out your map and mark the positions of every real estate broker within a two mile radius of your house. Go to the local multiple listing service office and ask to use their books for the last six months. For that period of time, find out specifically the following

  1. How many deals each office has done.
  2. The dollar volume of real estate listed and sold.
  3. The names of the people who listed each property.
  4. The number of co-brokered deals, looking to see if there is a pattern of any particular office with which they do business.

Now you have the information to make an informed visit to see the people who do business. Now you don't have to take a scatter gun approach to the marketplace available to you.

The suggestion here is to attack the individual real estate people who sell the most. Go after them with all the fervor of the first time you fell in love. Pursue them. Prove your worthiness. Ask them to do business with you. Do it with meaning and sincerity. Prove your sincerity by being willing to anticipate their needs. Ask to do the loan for the house they sold to their brother-in-law. Ask them to do something important to them personally. Ask if you can put on a seminar.

The meaning is plain - if you are just a normal citizen, who sits back and watches the world go by, that's just what will happen - the world will pass while you have no part in it.
